The Granite State Health Care Coalition (GSHCC) is a network of key representatives from public and private health and safety organizations that help communities prepare, respond, and recover from events impacting New Hampshire.

 

Why Join the Granite State Health Care Coalition?

Local and regional disasters are likely to create a surge of patients and casualties that might overwhelm our healthcare system and providers.  The Granite State Health Care Coalition provides the opportunity for providers, healthcare and community stakeholders to plan, prepare and train for catastrophic events through collaboration essential to integrated disaster response.

 

Granite State Health Care Coalition Objectives:

  • Develop relationships with partners
  • Participate in coordinated trainings and exercises that test organizational and response capabilities
  • Receive additional resources and support
  • Expand regional planning and agreements
  • Bridge the gaps between partners
  • Improve communication and  information sharing by participating in meetings
  • Assist in building community resilience
  • Access to situational awareness
  • Access to communication systems
  • Promote educational opportunities
  • Share best practices and lessons learned
