On the CUSP: STOP BSI in New Hampshire
Root Cause Analysis:
In addition to implementing the evidence-based interventions to reduce central line blood stream infections and the Comprehensive Unit-Based Safety Program (CUSP), hospitals have agreed to complete a brief survey when a CLBSI is identified. The purpose of the survey is to inform us as to the potential causes for the CLBSIs in our institutions and identify any commonalities in processes or patient characteristics acquiring these infections across hospitals.
