What Do We Do?
The Greater Nashua Healthy Community Collaborative,
formed in 1997, prioritizes its work using a variety
of data sources and input from community leaders.
Five criteria are applied in selecting issues to be
addressed by GNHCC:
• Burden of illness in the general and vulnerable
population
• Availability of current data
• Capacity and willingness to collect focused
outcome information
• Local champions to lead a project
• Evidence-based best practice literature and tools

GNHCC’s current
activities and past accomplishments
The GNHCC
welcomes Walgreens Pharmacy as its newest
member. We are happy to have Walgreens partner
with us as we seek to improved the health of the
Greater Nashua community. Below is a link to
Walgreens' current wellness events:
Nearly 24 million
children and adults in the United States live with
diabetes, and an additional 57 million Americans
have pre-diabetes, according to the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). To help
encourage diabetes education and promote diabetes
prevention, Walgreens will be hosting a national
diabetes event at all 24-hour Walgreens and Take
Care Clinic locations on November 12 – 13 from 10
a.m. to 6 p.m. Walgreens will offer free blood
glucose tests (for patients at risk for diabetes)
and A1C tests (for patients who have diabetes) as
well as one-on-one pharmacist consultations. Learn
more about this event
online.
